One must assume the member is concerned by this level of debt.
It would be enlightening to hear Mr Millar's solution for dealing constructively with this debt should an LNP government be elected at the next Queensland election

Get in the game
It’s wonderful to see our kids benefitting from the LNP’s Get in the Game program that encourages greater participation in sport at a grassroots level.
Get in the Game not only encourages a healthy and active lifestyle but helps to develop important social skills at a young age.
The $150 vouchers started in 2012 and are continuing with bipartisan support for the program.
One thing that has been of concern to us is the opportunity for kids in regional Queensland to gain access to the voucher system.
Labor changed the referral agent criteria last year – with no consultation – making it harder for people who have to travel or apply online.
The LNP raised this issue last July and the Government acknowledged it as a problem.
But nothing has been done.
As Curtis Pitt said recently, it’s a “first come, first served” system – so time is of the essence.
What many people in the city don’t realise is that broadband access in the bush is patchy at best.
Treasurer Curtis Pitt is from regional Queensland so you would think he’d understand.
My great concern is that while Annastacia Palaszczuk and her Ministers fail to do their jobs properly, kids in regional Queensland are missing out on this great program.
It’s another example of how the Palaszczuk Labor Government is Brisbane-centric, either paying lip service to rural Queensland or implementing policies that adversely impact the regions.

Trumped
Some Australians are critical of the fact we have a compulsory, preferential voting system.
America just elected a cheeto-coloured, narcissistic, tantrum throwing, tiny handed, giant ego man-child with nearly three million votes less than his rival (approximately 66 million v 63 million).
And 40% of people that could have voted didn't.
I support democracies and wish the United States of America well.
But I think they picked a total loonie with this one.

At the 65th anniversary of Accession Day, people shared their memories of the Queen’s visit to Mount Isa in 1970.
Colleen Peter Thrupp – Certainly remember this important event. Might have lived out west but we didn't miss out on much.
Teresa Curry Beveridge – I remember this too I was in primary school and we went to Mt Isa from Cloncurry on the "Chocolate Train"we were billeted out with local families, and we all sat in the middle of the football field, we had to wave our white handkerchiefs as they drive around the oval.
Elizabeth Myers – Oh I remember this trip well. "Build me up Buttercup" is the tune always comes to mind first.
Melonie Poppell – I remember that parade, we were at Central School. From a little girls perspective it looked like there were millions of people everywhere.
