A dog has died after its organs "boiled" on the Fraser coast on Saturday morning, as warm weather records tumbled in south-east Queensland.

Brisbane exceeded it's forecast maximum, reaching 37 degrees just after midday while Birdsville climbed above 45 later in the afternoon.
However, the RSPCA was left disappointed their pet-safety message didn't seem to get through to a Urangan resident near Hervey Bay.
A dog's "cooked" remains, possibly a Mastiff, were found after a neighbour called the RSPCA and an inspector found the dog dead by 10am.
The caller could only see empty containers in the backyard, no obvious source of water, no shade and the animal was tethered on two metres of rope in the backyard.
They also said the owners hadn't been home since Friday daytime, but a puppy and two kittens who are also believed to be living at the residence were thought to be kept inside.
RSPCA spokesman Michael Beatty said it was safe to say the owner would face charges and added the organisation had received 320 calls from concerned Queenslanders about at-risk pets during the first 10 days of February.
The heatwave well and truly took hold on Saturday, with even worse to come.
Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Sam Campbell said Beaudesert and Gatton broke their records for the warmest February days in almost 50 years reaching 41 and 42 degrees respectively.

He added Toowoomba broke its record for the warmest ever day hitting more than 39 degrees while Brisbane and Ipswich recorded their warmest days this summer, with tops of 37 and 40 respectively.
However, Mr Campbell said warmer temperatures were forecast for Sunday, so more records are likely to be broken, with Brisbane forecast to hit 39 degrees.
Paramedics responded to a total of 36 heat-related incidents on Saturday, while Maroochydore beach on the Sunshine Coast and Nobbys beach on the Gold Coast were closed for the day.
An early morning Surf Life Saving Queensland meeting initially came to the decision to close Surfers Paradise, Miami, Pacific, Nobbys, Palm Beach, Bilinga and Tugun beaches, but by 11am all had reopened except for Nobbys.
Energex had "all in all a good day" according to a spokesman, proving executive general manager of asset, safety and performance Peter Price right.
On Friday Mr Price said he was confident the energy grid would perform and meet the demand of Queenslanders while helping other states.
Only two minor outages were recorded on Saturday, affecting a couple of hundred homes, which were caused by wire damage as opposed to the heat.
Brisbane is expecting a brief reprieve next week, with temperatures to dip to 36 degrees on Monday and 29 on Tuesday. Possible showers are also forecast throughout the week.
