Mount Isa Darts Lead Balloon competition is set to rise this Saturday.

The format mixes better players with those who have never played before so it gives everyone a chance to win.

The Lead Balloon Darts Competition is scheduled to take place at Mount Isa’s home of darts, the Leichhardt Services Bowls Club, and everyone is invited.

Entry fee is $20 and it includes entry to three competitions, the pro-am mixed doubles, the blind man’s bull $100 challenge and singles open competition with prize money for the other two events to be announced on the day.

In the open section everyone will be in groups of three, two go through to the knockout, the better players will be handicapped by starting off a higher number.

But organisers say the most important thing is to come along and have fun.

Sign on for the Mount Isa Lead Balloon Darts Competition is at noon on Saturday February 18 for a 1pm start.

No need to register in advance, just rock up on the day.
