Nominations can be made from now until March 6, with judging taking place between March 6 and March 10.
Residents and schools are encouraged to register their streets and schools now.
The initiative has an emphasis on litter free and tidy properties and school yards, with judging taking place the week of Clean Up Australia Day.
Mayor Joyce McCulloch said there were many streets and neighbourhoods in Mount Isa that took great pride in their surroundings and deserved some recognition.
“We’d love to see these great streets and hardworking residents recognised for their efforts in keeping their community tidy and attractive, and also inspire others to do the same,” Mayor McCulloch said.
Nominations can be made online, or by phoning Council on 47473200.
