On from May 16-18, the now biennial event will feature more than 100 indoor and open air exhibits from mining, engineering, civil construction and affiliated businesses all showcasing the latest in innovation, technology and market trends.
The exhibition will also feature an industry only day where exhibitors and registered attendees will have the opportunity to hear from industry leaders in a panel style information session and meet one on one with representatives from large mining based companies in the Meet the Buyer Sessions,
Travis Crowther, president of host organisation Commerce North West said MineX 2017 had been carefully tailored to ensure industry themselves receive the most from the exhibition.
“MineX has been running in Mount Isa for over 20 years, with this year being our first biennial event after a break in 2016” said.
“Whether due to this change in format or just as a sign of the events reputation and current industry climate we have noticed a real increase in early registrations, with over 50 percent of the exhibition already sold and interest mounting daily.”
Mr Crowther said they were implementing changes to give exhibitors, partners and industry maximum benefit from the event.
“The return of the industry only day, the three day format and a change in the site layout are just some small examples,” he said.
MineX exhibition contractor Beth Anderson of NQ Exhibitions said they had secured exhibitors and interest from every imaginable industry this year from heavy machinery sales, through to tools and power equipment, aerial photography, 3D printing, PR and Marketing.
“With such great interest we have taken special care when assessing exhibitor applications to ensure that MineX 2017 both fulfils the expectations of industry and provides a thorough insight into the latest and greatest in mining and engineering” Ms Anderson said.
MineX kicks off at 10am daily at the Xstrata Exhibition Centre at Buchanan Park, starting with Industry only day Tuesday May 16.
