Residents of the Laura Johnson Home and other seniors attended the bi-monthly morning tea with jewellery making, nail painting, singing and a visit from Bluey the bear.
Leader Nicole Pyke said the centre hosts the event to bless the seniors of our city, and give them a fun time.
“They just love it, they come down and have such a wonderful time that they don’t want to leave,” Ms Pyke said.
“We like to have enough volunteers so everyone has a friend,” she said.
Bluey was a highlight for many, leading everyone in a cheeky song and dance.
The next morning tea for seniors is on Friday May 19 at 10 Enterprise Road.
