Club President Daniel Flanigan said the competition was open to anyone who wanted to have a go.
“We encourage people to form a team or just come down and we can pop them in a team,” Mr Flanigan said.
The last team competition was at the end of 2016, and once every few months, we play and then have a break before starting up again.
“It’s a nice social event during the week, everyone enjoys it, it breaks up the week for everyone, something to do in town,” he said.
Mount Isa Darts club had their pro-amateur doubles competition followed by their singles competition in February.
Mr Flanigan said the team competition is a little less serious and more of a social event.
“We’ve got nine teams in the comp this year, with a minimum of three players,” Mr Flanigan said.
“You play a round of three in each round, and you can have as many as you want playing.
“We try and keep it as social and free as possible.
“There are no membership fees to fork out, so it’s cheap and if anyone wants to pop up and have a game or two or three, it’s fine.
“While we’re playing its every Wednesday night and finals are usually on a Saturday,” he said.
