Giants should be developing western Sydney: Roos

Sydney premiership coach and former Swans academy boss Paul Roos has applauded the AFL's decision to strip a significant part of the GWS Giants academy zone saying the new club's previous boundaries were "not why academies were set up". Calling upon the Giants to turn their attention to the largely untapped region in Sydney's west, Roos said the Swans' decision to heavily invest in developing talented NSW teenagers was an example to all the northern clubs.
