"A moment of weakness" has seen ACT Meteors and Sydney Sixers star Emily Leys swap the cricket bat for a bike and commit to a 104-kilometre ride.

It's all for a good cause, with the Women's Big Bash League champion getting back on a bike for the first time since she was 12 to raise money and awareness for Lifeline.
Leys registered for the longest route of the Bobbin Head Cycle Classic in Sydney, which takes her from Turramurra's Karuah Oval, through Bobbin Head, West Head, Akuna Bay and back to Karuah.
Not a challenge for the faint-hearted, Leys joked on her fundraising page that she hopes she can survive the ride with around 1000 competitors expected.
