Brisbane ratepayers will continue to foot the bill for Brisbane City Council's IT contract blow-out with the latest expense coming in at more than $7 million.

The council has been working to renegotiate its $122 million, 10-year contract with Technology One, which was to replace 13 existing systems with a new "local government systems program" by the middle of this year.
Lord Mayor Graham Quirk revealed in January the renegotiation of the contract could have a cost blow-out of about $60 million.
At Tuesday's council meeting the payments listed for February contracts will be revealed and include:
- $5 million contract with Deloitte Consulting for Project Advisory Services - Local Government Systems Project
- $1.5 million contract awarded to KJ Ross and Associates, Spring Hill, for Software Assurance Services - Local Government Systems Project
- $600,000 for an independent chairperson for the Local Government Systems Project Program Board with the contract going to Toowong-based technology and business advisory Business Aspect
A council spokesman confirmed the three contracts related to the review of the IT systems replacement project.
Opposition Leader Peter Cumming said the project had already cost millions more than it was set to save over the 10-year life of the project.
"Graham Quirk has botched this project and has repeatedly refused to publicly release a report into the debacle that also cost ratepayers over $220,000," Cr Cumming said.
"How many more consultations and how many more millions of ratepayer dollars will go into salvaging this botched project?
"Graham Quirk owes Brisbane residents a full explanation as to how this has happened on his watch, but he's hiding the report.
"He needs to come clean before another dollar is spent."
Cr Cumming said Labor would vote against the contracts.
"Until we have a clear picture of how the administration has allowed this contract to fall in a heap, we won't be voting to spend another cent on this project," he said.
The council spokesman said Lord Mayor Graham Quirk announced all three measures in January.
"Information from the review into the project will be used by council for renegotiations of the project contract and releasing this will undermine council's ability to achieve the best outcome for ratepayers and minimise costs to council," he said.
"The Lord Mayor has committed to keeping councillors updated on progress of the project at council meetings."
