After this show they then visited the Laura Johnson Home to perform to the senior citizens that were unable to attend the civic centre to listen to them. It was a busy day. They performed for the wider community that night.
Mount Isa mayor Joyce McCulloch, who hosted the morning tea, was pleased with Tenori’s presence in the city.
She said that it was among several events and shows that are reaching the regional city. “We’re ticking all the boxes for culture.
“Mount Isa is being culturally challenged.”
The mayor then focused on the music. “This is so sad, this song. They have amazing voices. They are amazing.”
The Laura Johnson Home published a Facebook status thanking Tenori for the visit. “Your presence in our home brought so much joy.
“Our residents, staff and families truly thank you so much.”
