Cloncurry Shire Council Mayor Greg Campbell said they were delighted to get back to Dajarra, about 170km south-west of Cloncurry.
“Council is happy to start up this initiative again to hold at least one Council meeting in Dajarra each year,” Cr Campbell said.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to come along and see what a Council meeting looks like.”
The Council meeting will be held on Tuesday April 18 in the Jimberella Hall, Dajarra and will commence at 1pm.
“Council will hold a community BBQ before the meeting for the community. We encourage residents to talk to Councillors during this time to discuss any ideas or issues,” Cr Campbell said.
