Heazlett made his Australian One Day International Debut in New Zealand earlier this year.
He will be one of the special guest players alongside local cricketers in the inaugural Town v Country T20 match.
It will be held under the lights at the Cloncurry Showgrounds on Anzac Day, from 5pm.
The new drop-in astro-turf pitch was completed by the Cloncurry Shire Council in February.
But on Tuesday the new pitch will be officially unveiled as part of the Carnival of Cricket Day that will run from 12pm to 8pm.
Heazlett is a keen surfer who has been making the most of his official player leave period to relax by catching waves. But he will use some of that time as one of the guests on Queensland Cricket’s annual Western Tour.
On the tour next week he takes in coaching and school clinics through North West Queensland.
Queensland Cricket regional cricket manager Tony Hampson and fellow QC Game and market development staff Luke Kennedy and Dan Kearney will be joined by Australian Cricketers’ Association representatives Peter Drinnen and Scott Williams.
Williams, a former Bulls fast bowler, and Drinnen, a former Queensland wicket-keeper who went on to coach internationally with Scotland and the Netherlands, will assist with coaching the Town and Country Xis in Cloncurry.
Hampson, the current Australian Country wicket-keeper and winner of the 2017 State Government Queensland Country player of the year award, and Heazlett will each play in the T20 match.
The Carnival of Cricket in Cloncurry will feature a Super 8s carnival between 12pm and 4pm.
Junior cricket games and coaching tips will be held between 4pm and 5pm with the T20 match underway from 5pm.
The Western Tour started with the Camooweal Anzac cricket carnival on Saturday and Sunday.
It then moved on to Cloncurry on Monday where the group will conduct a clinic at St Josephs.
On Wednesday coaching clinics and school visits will take place in Julia Creek before moving on to Richmond and Hughenden on Thursday.
The tour visits St Francis School and Hughenden and Richmond State Schools.
He then holds an open coaching clinic in the afternoon at Hughenden State School. The tour finishes on Friday with a clinic at Pentland State School.
