Preparations continue at Tony White Oval on Friday.

Mount Isa’s Triple J One Night Stand is almost upon so here’s our compendium of all our One Night Stand info in one handy location.

One Night Stand is at Tony White Oval, at the south-western end of Mount Isa just past the railway crossing on the road to Boulia.

Gates open at 4pm with gold coin donation on entry.

Here’s some info on transport options to the venue and a map of the venue.

Don't forget to use the free bus service. Depart form the CBD or Buchanan Park (plenty of parking for your car). Pick up points are Marion Street beside the Mount Isa Village and Buchanan Park Carpark, George Street. Buses will run continually from 3.15pm to midnight.

Want to know the running order on the night? Look no further.

One Night Stand is an all ages event and is drug and alcohol free. But the local boys and girls in blue will be busy keeping things safe.

Road closures? Yep, there’ll be a few.

Closed from 2pm until midnight will be parts of Nandina Street, Buckley Street, Second Ave, Twentyfirst Ave, Twentythird Ave, and Seventeenth Ave

Local access to and from your properties will still be possible once you present your license to the security officer at road block locations.

What about the artists. Well, you’ve got you covered there too.

Local indigenous artist Lucky Luke won the Unearthed competition and opens the bill at 5.05pm after the Welcome to Country.

You can find out more about this talented local here.

The first of the main bands hits the stage at 5.40pm when San Cisco play.

We spoke to the WA band ahead of the gig, so check it out.

They will be followed on stage by Tash Sultana. Tash has had a whirlwind run to fame, going from busking on the streets of Melbourne at the start of 2016 to finishing the year with her song Jungle getting to number 3 in the Hottest 100.

At 8pm Melbourne’s The Smith Street Band take the stage. We spoke to them too.

Rounding off the night will be New South Welsh hip hop group Thundamentals at 9.05pm. Did we speak to them? You betcha.

We also spoke to Triple J’s content director Ollie Wards about the station’s philosophy about the event.
