A woman has been taken to hospital and her dog Shadow picked up by the RSPCA after an alleged home invasion in Ipswich overnight.

Police will allege three women and two men, all aged in their early 30s, broke into a Churchill home about 1am armed with poles.
The group allegedly assaulted a 35-year-old woman, known to the group, and her dog Shadow before stealing a mobile phone.
They then fled in a car and were arrested and charged by police a short time later.
Police called RSPCA who transported the male kelpie cross to their animal hospital for bruising and injuries to his head.
All five were charged with break and enter, assault, wilful damage, animal cruelty and stealing and were due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
