Shop Till I Drop operator Leanne Kum Sing said she started the business about a month ago because she saw a need in the Mount Isa community for a home delivery service.
“(I) knew there was a genuine need for many residents whilst it could be offered as a luxury service for others,” she said.
“This service is very useful for our elderly citizens, people with disabilities, people who do not have transport, busy working families and individuals, outlying Mount Isa township residents, stations...and people who generally detest shopping.”
Ms Kum Sing said that mobile Eftpos and cash payments were available to clients to pay for their groceries or retail jobs.
Shop Till I Drop’s official business launch is scheduled for Saturday, May 20, at the Kmart Village. It would allow people to ask questions about the service.
