Fairfax Media has looked into what the former cabinet members are doing now - but not all of them have retired from public life.
Some of the former cabinet members are still in the Queensland Parliament - including now Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Opposition Leader Tim Nicholls - and others are living a life outside the spotlight.
Of former premier Anna Bligh's cabinet, 11 are on a board, five are chief executives, five are still Queensland politicians and four have found work in consulting.
Others have gone on to teaching or study or even bought cafes.
Ipswich MP Rachel Nolan went travelling overseas before buying cafe Cactus Espresso Bar, which often hosts community events.
Others appear to be enjoying retirement, such as the former member for Cairns Desley Boyle.
Of former premier Campbell Newman's cabinet, 16 are still in Queensland Parliament, former police minister Jack Dempsey has gone on to be the Bundaberg mayor and John McVeigh has entered federal politics.
The figures do not represent people but instead roles, as some former MPs have had several roles, for example both a consultant and on a board since leaving politics.
The lists include cabinet reshuffles, but not assistant ministers.
