Celebrating Mother’s Day in style, several venues in Mount Isa held functions to mark the occasion.

Terrace Gardens hosted a Mother’s Day high tea for 100 guests to help 2017 Queen Quest entrant Alison Gibbs in her fundraising for Ronald McDonald Housae, North Queensland.
Ms Gibbs was thrilled with the sellout event where an ice blue Kitchen Aid was raffled off to lucky winner Shawn McBride.
Second prize were two white dinner sets, won by Thereasa Smith, while third went to Rachael Seadon who will receive a tea set.
The Isa Hotel put on a breakfast and high tea on Sunday.
Kindy kids from all over Mount Isa expressed their adoration for their mums in a video for The North West Star, which you can watch on our Facebook page.
