Murderers would be refused parole unless they tell authorities the locations of their victims' bodies, under proposed new laws.

Attorney-General Yvette D'Ath said the "no body, no parole" bill reinforced the government's commitment to victims of crime.
"The loss of a loved one through the criminal act of another is distressing enough, but often, this heartache and loss is further compounded when the body or remains of loved ones are unable to be recovered by investigating authorities," Ms D'Ath said.
No body, no parole refers to the principle that a prisoner convicted or murder or manslaughter who refused to help police to locate the victim should not be granted parole.
Murder, manslaughter, accessory after the fact to murder and conspiring to murder would be covered under the government's no body, no parole bill.
Under the government's bill, the prisoner would not be granted parole unless the Parole Board was satisfied they had satisfactorily cooperated in the investigation of the offence to identify the location, or last known location, of every part of the body or remains of the victim and the place where every part of the body or remains of the victim may be found.
It would not include prisoners who have already been released on parole, but if they had their parole order cancelled and they were returned to prison, the provisions would apply for their subsequent application for release.
The LNP had proposed amendments to the government's Corrective Services (Parole Board) and Other Legislation Amendment bill during the previous sitting week to include a no body, no parole policy.
The measure was a recommendation in the Queensland Parole System Review, conducted by Walter Sofronoff QC.
Both Labor and the LNP have committed to introduce a "no body, no parole" policy.
Debate on the parole board bill was halted during the previous sitting week, with the bill back on the notice paper for Tuesday.
On May 12, Ms D'Ath accused the LNP of proposing amendments which she said were "deeply flawed", and would avoid the scrutiny of the parliamentary committee process.
During debate on the parole bill earlier this month, Opposition police spokesman Tim Mander said it was disappointing the no body, no parole measure was not included in the government's parole bill.
"To ensure that these important reforms can pass and given the supposedly bipartisan support for these changes, we will be moving amendments to this bill to give effect to these changes and bring them forward now as a priority," Mr Mander said on May 9.
"Under our amendments to grant parole, the Parole Board must be satisfied that the offender has satisfactorily cooperated in the investigation of the offence to identify the location or last known location of the remains of the victim.
"This policy will apply to criminals who have not yet been released from jail on parole and not those already out of jail on parole.
"This will provide offenders with an opportunity to show remorse for their crime by rebalancing the scales of justice in favour of victims trying to find closure in the tragic circumstances of losing a loved one."
The parole bill is due for debate later on Tuesday.
The government's no body, no parole bill has been referred to the Legal Affairs and Community Safety Committee.
