The AFL match review panel has fined Sydney's Zak Jones $1500 for punching Hawthorn's Luke Breust.

The MRP said "the incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact to the body".
Given it was Jones' second classifiable offence he was offered a $2500 fine but can pay $1500 with an early guilty plea.
Sydney's Heath Grundy also escaped suspension for his raised elbow that struck the Hawks' Luke Hodge high. He can take a $1000 fine with an early guilty plea for his hit that was deemed "intentional conduct with low impact to the body".
Jones' fine comes after AFL boss Gillon McLachlan and football operations boss Simon Lethlean last week flagged a crackdown on punching in the wake of an ugly clash between North Melbourne and Melbourne, in which a punch by Ben Cunnington to Bernie Vince's gut attracted a fine, and a series of other low-impact and "jumper punches" went punished.
Other fines for round 10 were handed out to St Kilda's Jack Steven (striking), Brisbane's Dayne Beams (wrestling), Collingwood's Taylor Adams (wrestling) and North's Ryan Clarke (rough conduct).
Other incidents assessed were Charlie Dixon's contact with Joel Selwood and Shaun Burgoyne's tackle on Sam Reid. The MRP did not rule against either.
