The Fountain Springs MTB Classic was held on Saturday with a strong field of over 50 riders testing their skills and endurance on the grueling 55 and 20 km courses.

The full course set off at 8am on Saturday with Stack City MTB President Reece Cooper leading the field home in 2 hours and 45 minutes closely followed by Matt Norman and Steven Jenje.
In the ladies full course event Michelle Ball beat Tammy Green, other competitors in this division found the going hard and withdrew halfway.
The junior short course event provided a few surprises with Luke Bryant home first with Bailey Foschi and Lucas Marino about twenty minutes behind, a great effort by Bryant against seasoned competitors.
The senior ladies short course event saw Lyn Roughan take the chequered flag in 1 hour 13 minutes, 5 and 10 minutes ahead of Kelsie Waller and Sandra Foshci. Josie Green and Jarrod Moore won their Dirtmasters under 12s events with crossing the line in under 10 minutes, Jessie May Brummel, Luke Alexander and Joel Whitney had strong rides.
