The rail service provider warned residual delays remained about 8.35am.
EARLIER
Commuters in Brisbane's north and further afield are facing significant delays on their Monday morning trip to work.
Trains on the Airport, Caboolture, Doomben, Redcliffe Peninsula, Shorncliffe, and Sunshine Coast lines were delayed 15 minutes in both directions after a track fault at busy Eagle Junction station.
Translink announced the fault about 4.30am but it was still affecting passengers after 7am.
There were also delays on the major roadways heading into Brisbane, including a broken down truck on the Inner City Bypass near Ithaca Street, Kelvin Grove.
Australian Traffic Network traffic reporter Brad Hunter told ABC Radio Brisbane the delays were back to Bowen Hills.
It was also slow going for motorists heading into the city from the south, who were also facing delays of 15 minutes thanks to heavy congestion on the Pacific Motorway at Loganholme. Three bus routes were affected.
