Bombers hopeful of Windy Hill games if they get AFLW licence

Essendon are hopeful of returning to play games at their spiritual home of Windy Hill if the club successfully lands an AFLW licence for 2019, but concede their choice not to bid for a team for the first year of the competition in 2017 could hurt their chances.
