It was always going to be a challenge to top last year’s theme of a high class casino, so this year our venue will be transformed into “Buchanan’s Old Time Music Hall”, complete with a whisky and cigar bar.
The ball will be held at the Entertainment Centre at Buchanan Park Event Complex on Saturday, August 5 from 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
Tickets are $140 per person, including a delicious three-course meal, and chance to win a lucky door prize. Rumblefish will have the crowd jumping with its cool mix of bluegrass roots and beats.
The Bell & Moir Toyota ball marks the official start of the Isa Rodeo season, with the crowning of our Rodeo Queen and Charity Queen. This year, we have four fabulous hard working entrants in this year’s Isa Rotary Rodeo Queen Quest – Caitlynd Gardner, representing BUSHKids; Alison Gibbs (Ronald McDonald House North Queensland); Maureen Miller (The Laura Johnson Home); and Samantha Eaton (Estelle Cardiff Community Kindergarten).
Our Isa Rodeo Queen and Isa Rodeo Charity Queen when crowned, will become our rodeo Ambassadors for this year’s rodeo. So start getting a table together, or we’ll find you a great seat – tickets are available through our office by calling 4743 2706 or emailing admin@isarodeo.com.au. We are looking forward to a night of celebration to kick off our rodeo season in style!
This year’s Best Dressed Premises competition, sponsored by Workpac, will also feature the “Buchanan’s Old Time Music Hall” theme.
Our art union tickets are also selling like hot cakes – remember you’ve got to be in it to win it! First prize this year is a Toyota Landcruiser Wagon 4.5L GXL, second prize is a Toyota C-HR and third prize is a $3,000 Helloworld travel voucher.
The winners will be drawn at Buchanan Park on August 13 at 1.30pm. Tickets are available from participating businesses as well as our rodeo office.
All tickets, accommodation and tours can be booked through the rodeo website, www.isarodeo.com.au. Please do get in quickly if you would like to try Gold Class, as these seats are limited and will sell out.
The majority of seating is still unallocated, available on a first come, first serve basis.
