Behind the scenes at Normanton Rodeo bull contractor Warren Bethel was hard at work drafting his bulls for the open and novice events. When asked what makes a good bull he replied “It’s just in them, mate – Some bulls are made to buck and some ain’t”.

Mr Bethel brings his bulls over from Georgetown way and he supplies many rodeos along the coast for over 25 years. “It’s part of my soul,” he said. “You gotta spend time with them and get the best out of them,” he said.
