Known as the face of Richmond Field Days, Rhonda was seen behind the bar for at least the last 21 years.
Bar Manager, Verona Reynolds, said without volunteers like Rhonda supporting the Richmond Field Days and Races, events like those would not last.
“I have been the bar manager for the last 12 years and Rhonda has been there longer then me,” Ms Reynolds said.
“At first she was doing the TAB and then she moved to the bar, pouring drinks and selling drink tickets.
A local to Richmond, many know Rhonda from the turf club or her many years working at the local SPAR Supermarket, which she retired from in March this year.
“Rhonda kept coming back and was dedicated to the turf club,” she said
“For the field days she would work from 10am to 6pm on Friday and 10am to 12am on Saturday and did a lovely job for her age.
“I will miss her not being around as I am sure everyone will miss having a familiar face.”
