Two entrants in the local heat, Kaydee Steed and Billie-Jo Homuk, qualify to compete in the national finals to be held at the Gold Coast on the week of the third game. 

Ms Steed, also a national finalist in Australia’s Swimwear Model of the Year (ASMY) competition during which she was named ‘Miss Personality’, made her debut in modelling at last year’s Face of Origin after encouragement from a friend. 

She recently decided the Face of Origin’s fitness focus was more her style of modelling, and in this heat she was more relaxed than she was previously. 

“After nationals for ASMY, I have become a lot more confident on stage and it’s starting to come naturally to me,” Ms Steed said. 

“The feels for it are a little more relaxed and football focused for sure.”
