A female toddler with minor injuries to her arms and torso was transported in a stable condition to Mount Isa Hospital after a hot water incident at a private residence in Pioneer at about 9.30pm on Monday night July 11.

The incident comes just days after a similar incident when another female toddler was taken to hospital with 18 per cent burns to the abdomen after a hot water incident at a private residence in the suburb of Winston.
The extent of the injuries to the toddler involved in the Monday night incident are not yet known.
