“We have 25 individual exhibitors and 30 exhibits locked in, ranging from health funds and disability services to clinicians, physiotherapists, nutritionists, dieticians and even sporting groups,” she said.
“We have a great mix of health service providers and community organisations, bringing together industry and the public to showcasing a range of health, wellness, health careers and active lifestyle exhibits.
Guest appearances and a full program of displays are planned, as well as free workshops supported by the Northern branch of the Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre. Logan and Jillian Ballantyne of occupational therapy based company Making Progress, are delivering workshops on dementia and autism.
The expo is August 25-26.
