The Isa is surely full of men that would fit these categories, judging from race meetings and Instagram pics.
Yet so far there are only three entrants in the Mount Isa heat of the Manhunt competition. The local heat is to be held at the Rish Nightclub on Saturday night.
Entering the competition has been extended until Saturday midday, so if you have a partner or a friend you think might suit this, encourage them.
Rish Nightclub events manager Akos Schneider said, “basically as long as they look good in beach shorts is the biggest thing.
“They don’t have to be big muscly guys, although all are welcome.”
Ergon distribution linesman Dale Maher, 22, has stepped up to give the competition to go.
“I was actually sent the link for this (competition) by a number of people.
“I thought it would be a good time to try something different and get way out of my comfort zone.”
“I haven’t done anything like this at all, ever.
“It’s one thing to post photos of progress or stuff like that. But to get on stage in front of everyone to...show off in front of people is a totally different story.”
Click here to register for the competition. Three contestants will be able to compete in the grand final to be held in Cairns.
Models will be judged on runway skills, confidence, physical attributes, and personality.
“We are not in search of body builder physique or muscle man,” the competition said. “A lean, well-toned body and healthy looking body is what we look for.”
