FORMER officer-in-charge of Camooweal Police Station, Daniel Allan Baker, was extradited from the Northern Territory to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court this week.

The former Sergeant is charged with three counts of fraud, two counts of stealing as a person in public service, and misconduct of a police officer.
His court matter in Brisbane on Thursday was adjourned to the Mount Isa Magistrates Court and is scheduled to be heard on Monday, September 4.
Mr Baker resigned from the Queensland Police Service in March before disciplinary action could be taken against him.
Officers from the Queensland Police Service Ethical Standards Command extradited Mr Baker from the territory on Wednesday.
Mr Baker was a local racehorse owner and also often a spokesperson representing the Camooweal community.
ABC reports that Mr Baker was granted parole on the condition he not leave Queensland, visit Camooweal or make contact with anybody there.
