Over a hundred young middle school musicians from North Queensland including Mount Isa’s Good Shepherd Catholic College will come together for the region’s eighth annual State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP) Middle School - Cairns from August 4-6.

The program will conclude with a grand finale concert at St Mary's Catholic College on Sunday 6 August, at 1pm, with performances by the string, wind and vocal ensembles.
Students will work in an intensive environment under the direction of three of Australia’s finest conductors; Ms Emma Carey (Wind Ensemble), Mr Jonathan Zorzetto (String Ensemble) and Mr Timothy Sherlock (Vocal Ensemble).
