Mount Isa Police are seeking expressions of interest from workplaces, businesses and community groups interested in promoting strategies for an educational platform about the drug ‘ice’ in our community.
The initiative is a partnership between the Queensland Police Service and Queensland Health, which will launch after October 2017, to deliver information surrounding ‘ice’, drug and alcohol use, health advice and information about the police response.
Local Police are seeking employers, businesses and community groups that are interested in making a difference to a community issue that often affects workplaces, friends and family.
If you have a capacity to assist and are interested in contributing towards changing social attitudes about ‘ice’ use, or if would like a presentation held at your workplace or community group, please contact Mount Isa police station on 4744 1111 or email Mountisa.DCPC@police.qld.gov.au
