Open Bull Ride: Nathan Burtenshaw won the buckle with a total score of 237.5. He led 71.5 points in the competition, with second placer Sam Woodall on 166. In third was Jack McArthur, on 162.
Open Bareback: Fred Osman won the competition on 161.5 points, despite closely following Brock Mulhall in the first round. Osman’s 84.5 in the second round propelled him ahead. Mulhall was second place on 149. Hayden Tymell was third with 143 points.
Open Saddle Bronc: Cody Angland won with a total score of 154.5.
Rope and Tie: It came down to half a second. Clay Bush won with a total score of 24.15. In second place was Campbell Hodson with a score of 24.45, while Shane Iker was third with 25.05.
Breakaway Roping: Cherie O’Donoghue won with a score of 7.2. Shianne O’Donoghue had a score of 7.7 and came second, while Elley Hulls came third with a score of 7.95.
Barrel Racing: Jo Caldwell won the barrel racing with a total time of 35.226. In second place was Jaimi Dowling with a total time of 35.294. In third place was Emma Peters with a total time of 35.626.
Local station buck jumping: Cloncurry’s BJ Shephard won the local station competition with a total score of 122. He was nearly challenged by Daniel Turnbull, who came second with a score of 113. They were the only two riders to last their rides. In third place was Luke Chaplin with a score of 65.
Team Roping: Shane Kenny and Clay Bush won the team roping with a total time of 15.65. In second place was Terry Evison and Aaron Bookluck with a total time of 16.45. In third was Campbell Hodgson and Liam Davidson with a total time of 16.9.
Over 55s Team Roping: Garry McPhee and Ron Purse won with a time of 17.5 seconds. In second place was Robert McPhee and Norm Stagg with a time of 18.25 seconds.
Over 40s Bull Ride: David Mawhinney won the competition with a total score of 150. He was 15 points ahead of second placer Mike Berg, who had a total 135 points. Ross Wicks was third place with a score of 72.
Second Division Bareback: Tristan Braden and Brodie Adams tied with a total score of 129. In third place was Tom Phibbs with a score of 58.
Second Division Bull Ride: The winner was Bailey Woodward with a total score of 152.5. In second place was Matt Goodwin with a total score of 138.
Second Division Saddle Bronc: Tom Webster won with a total score of 134. In second place was Kolt Berguson with a total score of 126. In third place was Nigel Gilbo with a total score of 124.
Jnr Barrel Race: Ellysa Kenny won with a total time of 33.223. In second place was Coban Ayres with a total time of 34.064. In third place was Maddison Caban with a total time of 34.153.
Jnr Breakaway: Tyler Kenny had the best score of 3.65. In second place was Clay Caban with a score of 3.85.
Jnr Bull Ride: Dylan Weir had a score of 71 points, and came first. Cody Mann was second with a score of 60.
Jnr Team Roping: Winners were header Ellysa Kenny, with 8.5, and heeler Toby Hale, with 7.4.
Jnr Steer Ride: Cody Williams won with a total 105 points.
Poddy Ride: Cade Ferguson won on 65 points. Second was Leo Major, 60 pts.
