A man charged with manslaughter following a four-month investigation into the death of a man at a Springfield Lakes construction site in April has been granted bail.

Neil Norris, 24, appeared in Ipswich Magistrates Court on Wednesday after being charged on Tuesday over the death of a workmate allegedly hit in the head by earth-moving equipment at Springfield Lakes on April 10.
Maintenance fitter Peter Tullett, 29, was airlifted to Princess Alexandra hospital after he was allegedly hit in the head by earthmoving equipment at a work site in Springfield Lakes on April 10.
Mr Tullett suffered a fractured skull and died in hospital the following day.
Workplace Health and Safety launched an investigation into the man's death, which resulted in Mr Norris being charged with one count of manslaughter on Tuesday.
Mr Norris was allegedly at the controls of the excavator when straps holding the earth mover slipped and caused the accident.
"Mr Norris is absolutely devastated by the awful incident," defence lawyer Emma Aldersea said outside court.
"These are obviously very tragic circumstances for all of those involved."
Norris's matter has been adjourned until September 6.
