Cloncurry Shire Council Mayor Greg Campbell said the September 22 ball had been so popular the C150 Committee have decided to increase the number of tickets available.
“There has been a lot of interest in the ball with the first round of tickets selling quickly,” Cr Campbell said.
“This is an exciting time for Cloncurry and I look forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming events.”
The first round of 250 tickets for the ball sold out in under 48 hours.
The second round of tickets will be available from 9am Monday August 21 for $70 each online at www.eventbrite.com.au
Community members may also come into the Council office and use iPads to order tickets, with assistance provided by staff if required.
The week long C150 Celebrations for the town’s 150th birthday will go from September 15-23.
