There will be 150 minted coins for sale for Cloncurry’s 150th birthday. Mayor Greg Campbell said the Royal Australian Mint copper coin has the C150 logo one side and an image of Ernest Henry on the other with each coin numbered 1 to 150 to make each coin one of a kind. One coin will go into a time capsule at Mary Kathleen Park and one will be at a C150 display at Cloncurry Unearthed Visitor Information Centre. The $150 coins are on sale at www.cloncurry.qld.gov.au/c150-merchandise from 10am, Monday Aug 28.
