One Nation has preselected candidates for more than half of Queensland's state seats, leader Pauline Hanson told her party's annual general meeting in Brisbane on Thursday.

Senator Hanson said the party had 53 candidates so far for the Queensland Parliament, which will be expanded to 93 seats in the next term.
And she also gave the first indication she intended to stand again for the Senate, before standing down.
Senator Hanson shrugged off last week's episode in the Senate where she appeared wearing a burqa, as "a stunt against political correctness", to loud applause within the AGM's morning session.
Outside the AGM, the Queensland senator said One Nation identified Rockhampton and Mackay as possible state wins for the party and said it was looking for candidates.
"Those two seats; they are seats we think we can possibly win," she said.
"There is strong support for us in those areas."
Labor's Agriculture Minister, Bill Byrne, won the seat of Rockhampton on first preferences at the last state election with a 9.2 per cent swing.
In Mackay, which is Labor heartland, Julieanne Gilbert held the seat she inherited from former deputy leader Tim Mulherin in 2012, with a 5 per cent swing.
However, in both seats, the LNP vote was quite low, revealing One Nation's hopes to finish second and secure the seat against Labor on conservative preferences.
Senator Hanson said her view was Queensland was ready for change.
"Look I think the whole of Queensland is ready for a shake-up," she said.
In what was an emotional speech from the party leader to the first AGM she has attended since returning to the party, she warned her candidates not to take things for granted.
"Because I'll be kicking you up the backsides if you do," she told the AGM to loud applause in Brisbane.
"You'll be hearing from me."
Senator Hanson said when One Nation won 11 seats in the 1998 Queensland Parliament, it stood candidates in 79 of Queensland's 89 seats.
As of Thursday, it had 53 candidates in 93 seats.
"So it's got to be relative to the number of candidates that we stand," she said.
One Nation's Queensland members will be asked to relinquish the state One Nation Party incorporation and elect to join a federal party, with state branches, Senator Hanson said.
She said she believed the party's sole state MP, state leader Steve Dickson, would hold his Sunshine Coat seat around Buderim, despite him leaving the LNP mid-term.
"Oh, I've got every confidence that Steve will win his seat," she said.
"Steve has got 10 years' experience and he's been a minister in several portfolios."
Senator Hanson clarified suggestions she would not run again for the Senate when she told the AGM, it was her "last chance to make a mark on Australian politics"
"What I am saying is that it takes a lot to build a political party from basically nothing," she said.
"I am not going to let what happened the first time happen again, where you lose control of it.
"So I want to build a strong foundation, when there are more people elected to parliament, then I am quite happy to step aside and let someone else become the leader of the party.
"And that is what I am aiming for in the future."
