Tincknell won three out of the five races including the Camooweal Cup with Dan Ballard taking out the other two races.
A big crowd came in for a terrific day of racing and Cronin Park was looking in top notch for the day.
Tincknell started as she meant to finish winning Race 1 the Brodie Hardware Cloncurry Mitre 10 QTIS Maiden Plate over 1000m on Bob Burow’s Temesta Rossa ahead of Alienate and I am Hercules.
Ballard won the first leg of his double in Race 2 the Post Office Hotel Camooweal / Camooweal Roadhouse Class B Handicap over 1000m steering the favourite Calabah Flame to victory over Grandzone Rocket and Tidal Rip.
Ballard was back in the winners enclosure in Race 3 the Northern Rural Group Benchmark 60 Handicap over the longer distance of 1200m which was also the feature race for the Calcutta.
Again riding the favourite Ballard guided Damien Finter’s Rothstein to a one length win over Count Blevic in second with Bush Lawyer a further six lengths back in third.
But after that it was time for the Tamara Tincknell show to take over again.
Riding the $8 chance Mr Rockard for trainer Dawn Sanderson Ticknell had her second win of the day in Race 4 the Hick Family and Miller Family Benchmark 50 Handicap over 1400m.
A length behind in second was Frisco Journey while Ballard had to be satisfied with a third place on Zatochio.
Race 5 was the feature race of the day, the Bluescope Distribution Camooweal Cup Open Handicap also over 1400m.
Tincknell was aboard the favourite, the David Smith-trained Your Way Or Mine which justified the short price at the bookies as it romped home to take home the Cup by a five length winning margin.
Tanya Parry’s Diurnal Tiger was clear out in second, with Parry’s other runner Admiral Ruff another six and a half lengths back in third.
This coming weekend the action moves south to Birdsville for the biggest meeting in the Outback over two days, Friday and Saturday.
