Peter Mazas and Marko Perinovic have now won NPL titles across all five underage grades having tasted success in the past four seasons at Canberra Olympic.

The dynamic duo brought their services to Belconnen this season and took down their former club 3-0 in the decider at McKellar Park on Sunday.

"It's a great feeling and we're getting accustomed to winning these things which is a good habit to get into," Mazas said.

"Only one player remained from last year's squad, so this a completely new side and the club has won four years in a row now, I'm glad we could continue the tradition.

"But it is mixed emotions because we know a lot of the Olympic kids and I'm glad they made the final because they're a good bunch of kids and to play them was ideal but someone has got to win and I'd obviously rather it be us."

Jayde James-Ward opened the scoring on 18 minutes but for the rest of the half Olympic dominated possession and controlled proceedings for no reward.

Belconnen came back into the contest in the second stanza and after sustained pressure Olympic cracked with a 77th-minute own goal, before Martin Crome sealed it on 83 minutes.

"It's a great feeling and good reward for the kids after setting out to win it at the start of the season because I thought we had the squad to do it," Mazas said.

"We had a lot of injuries and turnover and managed to get three or four kids into first grade which is our benchmark, so to win it with the remaining kids is a great effort."

Belconnen midfielder Dylan Aitolu was named man of the match, while Harry Williams was a pillar of strength at the back and skipper Sam Whithear made his 45 minutes count before sitting on the bench for first grade.

Belconnen United also took out the under-18 title after a 17th-minute strike from Miguel Da Silva proved the difference against the Cooma Tigers.
