A WOMAN did not attend the Mount Isa Magistrates Court to face a charge of committing an offence after entering a dwelling, because she was working on construction of the gas pipeline.

Magistrate James Morton was unimpressed, saying that  Mary-Anne Margaret Ah-One’s reason was “not good enough” and has written a police warrant to be activated immediately if she does not attend her next court appearance on September 20. “This is a serious charge,” the magistrate said.
