Money for north west bridge projects

The Carl Katter Bridge project in Cloncurry will receive $2.47 million from the federal government to be matched by council.

More than $5 million has been allocated to two bridge projects in the region as part of round three of the Federal Government’s Bridges Renewal Program.

The Carl Katter Bridge project in Cloncurry will receive $2.47 million and the Isa Street Bridge Replacement in Mount Isa $3.5 million. 

This funding will be matched by the local councils.
