They had partnered up in the Jen Gallery 4BBB Stableford Multiplier event at the Mount Isa Golf Club last Saturday, and their combined skill was enough to secure the victory.
McDonald and Nankivell totally outclassed their rivals by carding an impressive 84 Stableford points on the course that day.
Runner-up award went to Liz Jakeman and Glenda Fietz.
They finished the day with 56 points on their score sheet.
Nearest the pins were won by Rebecca Nankivell (14), Auretta Perrin (2) and (12).
In the mid-week competition, the ladies competed for the Dianne Foot trophy in an 18-hole Par Bisque. Liz Jakeman claimed this event with a great score of +5.
Jakeman rounded out her good performance by taking the only pin shot on offer on hole 2.
