The names of all attendees at an upcoming $990-a-head fundraiser for federal MP Shayne Neumann will be made public after the Premier stepped in.

Without her intervention, the guests would have fallen just shy of the $1000 donations threshold requiring names to be automatically declared under the real-time disclosure system.

The pledge came after News Corp contacted the Premier's office on Wednesday about Mr Neumann's "Boardroom Lunch" next month at the Norman Hotel with shadow treasurer Chris Bowen.

"I've only become aware of this event today and I have requested the State Secretary to ensure the names of all those who pay to attend are declared to the ECQ as donors," Ms Palaszczuk said.

"The State Secretary has told me pricing for future events will be done in such a way that there can be no perception of an attempt to avoid the declaration threshold.

"I would expect anyone to abide by the legislation - and the spirit of the legislation.

"That is why I ensured that all donations to the Labor Party of $1000 and above were declared, even during the time the Newman-Nicholls government raised the threshold to $12,800."

On Tuesday, One Nation was criticised for pricing a Brisbane fundraiser at $995 but insisted it was not a deliberate attempt to keep donors anonymous.

"I think it's $5 under the threshold, I think that's a little bit sneaky, frankly," Ms Palaszczuk said.

The threshold was set at the beginning of this year when the state government introduced its new disclosure regulations, forcing all donations above the amount to be publicly registered within seven days.

The One Nation fundraiser at Brisbane's Paddington Tavern was set to be hosted by party founder Pauline Hanson as well as the party's Queensland state leader, Steve Dickson.

Fairfax Media has approached Mr Neumann's office and One Nation state leader Steve Dickson for comment.
