In Mount Isa, a candlelight vigil will be held tonight at 6.30pm on the Pamela Street Hill.
On Friday morning a service will take place at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2 Corbould Street. The service begins at 10am, however police advise attendees to be seated by 9.45am.
The Normanton Station will also remember fallen colleagues at 10am.
In Cloncurry, a service will be held at Saint Colman’s Catholic Church, Sheaffe Street, at 4pm.
Further north at Doomadgee, a service will be held on the front lawn outside the station at 5pm.
