A woman is fighting for her life after a hit-and-run incident in Brisbane overnight.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Hamilton Place and Campbell Street about 1am on Thursday morning following reports a woman was lying on the road.
Paramedics rushed the 27-year-old woman, who had critical head injuries, to the Roal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
A police spokesman said the woman underwent emergency surgery on Thursday morning but remains in a critical condition.
A 58-year old man is assisting police with their inquiries into the alleged incident.
Police have reviewed CCTV in the area and investigators from the Forensic Crash Unit believe the woman was struck by a tractor crane.
They are appealing for anyone who may have seen the distinctive heavy vehicle or has dashcam footage in the Bowen Hills area overnight to contact Policelink 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Investigations were continuing.
A man in his 60s or 70s is also in a critical condition at the RBWH after being hit by an SUV at Windsor on Wednesday.
The man was hit while crossing Bowen Street about 7.10pm.
