Eroni Vasiteri and Apisalome Waqatabu could both be slapped with a ban of 12 weeks if found guilty at a hearing in Sydney.
Faingaa has been named in the Vikings' starting XV to play against the Melbourne Rising in Victoria on Sunday as Canberra looks to extend its lead at the top of the ladder.
Vikings coach Tim Sampson has made minimal changes to his side, with Wallabies lock Rory Arnold being injected and Les Leuluailii-Makin returning as the starting tighthead prop.
Arnold arrived back in Australia on Monday after travelling to South Africa for the Wallabies' clash against the Springboks.
Young gun Mack Hansen will get another opportunity on the bench, while ACT Brumbies skipper Sam Carter is expected to return to NRC duties next week.
The Vikings haven't won a game on the road so far this season, but winger Ben Johnston is confident they can break the drought after toppling Fiji 66-5 last week.
"A win like that builds confidence, but we're not getting too far ahead of ourselves," Johnston said
"It's a very close competition, we're building. We need to show up on the weekend if we want to get the job done."
The Rising will be boosted by the return of Wallabies back-rower Lopeti Timani and former Australian sevens winger Henry Hutchison will start on the wing.
