A taxi driver who died in 2002 has been named as Sharron Phillips' murderer, after a 31-year police investigation.

Following a decades-long search for answers, homicide squad Detective Inspector Damien Hansen on Friday named Raymond Peter Mulvihill as her killer, saying he would have been arrested if he was still alive today.
Police will pass information to the coroner and want to speak to a neighbour of Mr Mulvihill, called "Jim", who is not a person of interest.
Inspector Hansen said there was "no evidence" to implicate Sharron's father, Bob Phillips.
Ms Phillips disappeared after making a call from a pay phone near Wacol Station Road, Wacol after midnight on May 9, 1986.
Her yellow Datsun Bluebird had run out of petrol. She called her boyfriend but he never found her and neither did anyone else.
After lying dormant for years, the cold case team picked up the case again in May 2016 after someone, believed to be the taxi driver's son, came forward with more information.
"At the time Mulvihill was the driver of an Ascot taxi and that taxi was based at a residence behind a convenience store on Wacol Station Road, Wacol," he said.
"... If Raymond Peter Mulvihill was alive today he would be arrested for the murder of Sharron Phillips."
Inspector Hansen said detectives would continue to investigate whether anyone else helped Mulvihill during or after the murder.

Homicide detectives investigating the disappearance of Sharron Phillips from Wacol in 1986 have made a significant breakthrough.
Ms Phillips was last known to have made a phone call from a payphone near Wacol Station Road, Wacol, after midnight on May 9, 1986. She used the phone to call her then-boyfriend for help after her yellow Datsun Bluebird ran out of petrol.
He never found her.
Following a lengthy and complex investigation spanning three decades, police from the homicide group were expected to brief media on Friday.
Her disappearance has become Queensland's highest-profile missing person's case.
No one has been charged despite hundreds of leads in a case that captured the public imagination in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
In 2016, one of Ms Phillips' brothers, Darren Phillips, and her sister Donna Anderson broke their silence and raised doubts about the alibi provided to police by their father Bob Phillips on the night of the disappearance.
The siblings doubted their father's story, that he had driven to Gilgandra in rural New South Wales to collect a truck, and they wanted detectives to check the story.
They requested police search a block of land next to their parents' old home in Riverview, east Ipswich, but detectives said they had no new information to warrant searching the block.
The story prompted another man to come forward with information, which homicide detective Inspector Damien Hansen last year described as credible.
Detectives subsequently searched a drain at Carole Park in May and June 2016 but found nothing.
In July 2017, Ms Anderson paid a company to help her search the block of land.
