Cameron's manager Colin Young said his charge won’t play at the Crows when his contract expires at the end of next season.
The 23-year-old Cameron wants to be traded to 2017's wooden-spooners, the Brisbane Lions so he can be closer to friends and relatives.
Cameron was born in Mount Isa into an Indigenous Australian family (Lardil and Waanyi) and he attended primary school in Mornington Island.
He moved to Brisbane to attend Marist College Ashgrove.
His sporting talent was quickly recognised and he played baseball, rugby union and rugby league at high levels
Aged 17 he moved with his family to the Western Australian mining town of Newman where he began playing Aussie Rules and he was picked up the Crows in 2013.
