Gold Coast police are asking local residents to check their yards for an 11-year-old girl who has not been seen since Saturday night.

Concerns are held for the girl's safety and wellbeing due to her age and because she has a medical condition.

Officers are conducting a search of the region after the young girl went missing from a John Crescent residence in Pimpama about 8pm.

She was described as Caucasian, about 150 centimetres tall, with a proportionate build, long blonde hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing long sleeve pyjamas - blue pants with a white pattern and a white top with a blue pattern and blue sleeves.

Anyone who may have seen the girl or has any information in relation to her current whereabouts is urged to contact police.
